I have a design in sketchup that I'm trying to turn into a printable format. I have two questions.

1: How to I make the unfold plugin unfold in the direction I want it to? sometimes it works, and then it will fold in onto itself, or just randomly deposit bits everywhere. Is there a way to control this?

2: How do I print out my unfolded piece, turning it from a 3d section floating in cyberspace, to a flat, corectly sized outline on a piece of paper.

It's probably something obvious, but I just cant seem to get there.

    Thanks all.

    Hey mouse,

Are you using a plugin with sketchup? If it's the one I'm thinking of, it didn't work the way I wanted it to. Very finicky.

If you're using pep try this:

Try making sure your parts are not "grouped" when you export it to a .kmz file. It seems that pep doesn't like the to unfold when things are "grouped" or made into a "component". That has solved most of the problems for me.
