single to twin gearbox

    anyone know of someone who sells a gearbox that allows you to trun to props with one engine?

    props? so ur talking about boats, i would geuss?

    yes, i have a Dumas Donzi... i meant to say turn two props

    i dont know of any companies that make an actual conversion kit kid of thing. iv been thinking on how a good way to do it would be an im coming up with a blank. wuts the addvantage ur wanting to result from 2 props???just wonderin...

    the kit calls for twin screw and i think it'll be awfully hard to confert it to single.

    Well I have seen a Dumas boat running two props with one motor. The motor had a sprocket that drove a mini "bicycle" chain that ran the opposing props. I cant remember if he built it himself or it was a kit but I know it was an older model and the motors were 12V.

    The best I can do with a Word Editor on how the arrangement looked. The "." Are just holding space to keep the pic correct
    The "+" Are the props
    The "-" are the prop shafts
    The "|" are the sprockets and chain
