Here is the first card model I designed. I made it after attending a "Build a rocket ship out of paper" session at a local science fiction convention (Arisia) a while back
The project was a buck rogers ship http://constantvariation.blogspot.com/2012/01/buck-rogers-space-cruiser.html It was fun, but I had a different image in my mind of what the rocket would be like, so I designed this rocket after the convention.

I was working on another project in qcad recently and re-discovered the files. I decided to clean up the files and share them as PDFs.

The feeling of accomplishment is great, isn't it? To create something out of pure imagination, and make it come true.
    Congrats, it looks nice!

Right when I came by to see this thread I was struck by this little rocket and thought, hey, that looks like Buck! And when I was reading the post I realized that it was indeed Buck.

Really fine work, crisp and clean, easy but convincing, and it's Buck - what more does a Sci-Fi fan want. Cool model and thanks for sharing! :thumb::thumb::thumb:

That is a neat rocket. It is begging for an ESTES rocket for a real flight!! :)

I would like to put this in the "Downloads" section. I encourage you to do it. We don't want models in the threads because they get lost and buried that way. if you don't know or want to be bothered, let me know. I will however end up putting it in the "Downloads" section. It's a really nice model. Great job! :)
