All sorts of proto Houses, buildings ect.

I was out and about today looking for old houses that one could model.
Also if you have any old buildings in your area we would like a pic of them please.
Not only the building but also the trees and garden.
Cheers.
Here is the first.

Neat thread idea

Hi Chris - I've always called it gingerbread as well. Here's a shot I took on my way home from Kincardine ON last weekend. It's a farmhouse. I didn't bother with a shot of the front because it's exactly a model put out by Sylvan Scale Models of a gothic style farmhouse. This is the side view, showing the add-on to the basic kit.

cheers
Val

Thanks Gary and Val.
There are a few older farm houses and residential, around me, and thats what made think about the add-ons and different types, for our city/ country models.
And there are a lot out there, I will get a few more this week.;)

Those are very nice Chris. The last shot really shows all the wildflowers growing alongside the driveway. Cool!
I was documenting some barns last weekend too. Here's one of them. Unfortunately it was very foggy when I took this shot.

cheers
Val

Chris,

When I get brave enough to start a scratchbuilt house, I'll remember to find this thread. For some reason, ever since I got into modeling, I don't look a things like I used to. I can't believe how much stuff I missed before that....

Great pics,

Don
