I have a Bachman 2-8-0 at the club and at home, both in the Southern green and gold. the one at the club has a Soundtrax Tsunami decoder in , and sounds awesome. The one I have at home is My Southern Railway passenger interchange locomotive I have a Tsumami for my home locomotive.

It is a great mechanism. the only problem I have seen is the drawbar can come off the tender easily, letting the locomotive pull the teder by the wires. both of my locomotives have needed wireing repairs at the tender. I have moddified both by taking a small ring of insulation stripped off a piece of wire, and pressing it on the post on the tender on top of the drawbar, and puttting a drop of ACC on it to keep the insulation secured.

Bill both of the drives used, I4 and I5, are old ones that still run. There is no tender electrical pick up. I don't do ddc. I am a old guy with almost all DC trains. To many to convert.
