scratch build log car

This is a log car I build from scratch.
The body is plastic holder to secure video cards and so on on computer boards, which I cutted down to scale 50'.
The cross members are matches cut to length.
The air tanks and pipes are sprue from kits as are the log bunks.
The deck is wood applied with the better sigars to light them(cedar wood).
Trucks and wheels are MicroTrains Bettendorf.

That is really neat Paul. Maybe one of these days I might decide to build a couple of cars.. Way back in the early 60's when I had my HO, I built a complete 7 car passenger train with all the insides and table cloths on the diner car table and upholsterd seats in the passenger cars. It took me about 4 month of almost steady building. I vowed never to do it again.
