Scratch-bash oil refinery

Matthyro

Will always be re-membered
My scratch-bash oil refinery was originally scratch built for my old layout. Some changes were necessary to fit it into its new location on my current layout.

Oil from the oil rich area around Ingelow provides a sufficient supply of crude to keep this refinery busy. Gasoline and other oil based products are shipped by rail to all points and interchanges on my M.A.T. railroad. The excess is exported through the port of Tayside.

This refinery is named after Henrick Akesson NARA member #39

The refinery is built out of plastic containers, doweling, wire and other odds and ends from my scrap box. I used automotive lacquer to paint most of the parts.

Robin,
That's an impressive looking industry, nice work!!

Kind of like a finishing school industry, "you go in crude, and come out quite refined":D :D
