Hi folks,

I recently got a Pro-97 off ebay and having reception problems with it. Hope someone a little more familiar with the device may offer some assistance.

Ok, so I'd have to say there's something up with the Pro-97.

First off, here's clips I recorded on my Uniden BC92XLT:

Now here's what the Pro-97 is hearing:

These were recorded on the same antenna, a traintenna mounted at about 22'. Only changed the antenna cable from unit to the other. So it's certainly something with the pro-97.

Then it gets even weirder. The Pro-97 is picking up what sounds like a TV or Radio station on 161.445 AAR 89 Palestine South - Navasota - Bryan - Eureka Road Channel here in Houston, TX.

I reset the Pro-97, in case the previous owner had some wierd settings on it, but no change on the reception.

Any ideas to try?
