Scalecoat I verses Scalecoat II

I bought a spray can of 'Scalecoat II' paint not realizing it was for plastic models. Does someone know if it will be good to paint a Bowser locomotive (which is all metal) with this after undercoating or should I perchase the 'Scalecoat I' which is for metal and wood?

I think that the "II" version uses a different solvent and is safe to use on plastics, although not restricted to just plastics. Personally, I've had no problems using regular Scalecoat on plastics. If your Bowser loco is clean, the Scalecoat II should work fine.

Either or will work. Scalecote I will work on plastic, as long as it properly, and fully primed. The opposite should be the same.
