Sawmill water car...

While I don't model logging operations, I thought that this picture that I found while scanning some old photos might be of interest to some of those who do. I took it in 1963, near North Bay, Ontario, on the property of a smaller logging/sawmill operation. Sorry, but I have no other info on this car, although it shouldn't be too difficult to build a model.

Now that's a kit bashers dream.

This car has strong similarities with the Model Die Casting "Old Time" Tank Car kits. The frame is almost identical, the walkway up on the tank, and the apparent size, are very close. This would be an interesting bash for the Bachmann On30 tanks.
