Truly a beautiful model, and very helpful discussions! I like to know the history of my models, and it's refreshing to see some of the more rare ones.
I've been in the midst of rebuilding mine, since I felt dissatisfied with my job on some of the parts. (Okay, so I'll admit--my fingers are rather clumsy with that nose cone, and I'm really hell bent on getting it as pointed as possible!)
So far, my biggest problems with the instructions have been addressed. Originally I had problems with the interstage assembly, but I've got it now.
When I get it finished (a day, maybe two or so?) I'll post my pics.
And thank you again for making this model available. It's been great to see more attention given to the early Saturns. I'm putting it proudly in the "rocket garden" on my shelf, right up front!

    Surfduke,

That's a great site. I've been researching Saturns on the web for the last year, and never ran across it before. Thanks for posting the link.

Looks good, Carl! Hope you enjoyed the build.

Is that a laser or inkjet print? If laser, how did you keep the ink from flaking off? I've had that trouble alot.

    Inkjet

I use a inkjet HP1310. On larger models I use my CAD Plotter. I did not notice the glue smear on the tank until I posted, (Sorry Guys, (It's a beta build, (LOL))).

    Have a great evening,

    Carl

    Can't Wait!

I was going to ask which Saturn was next, (But you answered that question). Hope to see it soon, (and again, just write if you need any research, or prebuild help).

    Rocket SA5

    Hello ekuth,

as a fan of all american and russian rockets, I loaded immediately your SA1. I will try to build it when I got more practice with cardmodeling.
I wonder if anyone knows about a model of the american "Jupiter"-rocket with Explorer 1, the first successfull liftet sattelite from the US, after the USSR started Sputnik1?

    hold the press...!

    Hi,

Please don't download or build the Jupiter rocket yet.
Its proportions are wrong. I am making an update. Should have
    done that long ago.
It should have the same proportions as the lower half of the Redstone
    rocket.

I shall try to make this update available as soon as possible.

Too Late Erik, (but thanks for the heads up)

    Erick,

Thanks for the information on the Jupiter. I will let my Space Club Members know Monday evening. Some have already built it, (so have I). I will tell them that we will do some rebuilds for club, and private displays, when you republish. I will not remove them from the club displays until then. Our main/big club display is in, the High School Hallway. We want to have it there for historic education, display. The other kids in school, will be none the wiser, when we swap out the models. I would again like to thank you, for all your hard/detailed, work. These models you have published, are a big help in education, of our younger club members.

Thank you very much for all your help,

    Carl
