The buddy who sent me the tumble weed story, sent these links to me. I thought some of you guys would enjoy seeing them. He models Santa Fe in the 1970's, but when they were trying to merge SF & SP, he fell in love with the "kodachrome" scheme, so he built a bunch of SP & SF units in "kodachrome."

MKT 232 is one freaky patch job!

These shots show (as usual) what I like about SF in that era: An interesting roster optimized for high-speed running, including many engines that were "classics" already, and a common variant scheme that looked good with the standard.

Something about the Blue/yellow diesels with that big SANTA FE on the side pulling a long string of reefers always got my attention.:thumb:
