san jacinto monuement type star

as the title says i am looking to do a star in the shape/style of the one on top of the san jacinto monuement by the battleship texas. any help in finding one would be greatly appreciated. do not have alot of time to go web surfin much with the new 6 month old startin to crawl. thanks again for any help.

I have a .skp model of this. It is a very complicated shape. Explaining how to fold it would take a book. If you can read .skp files, I could send you the file. I could give you the templates but making the star might drive you nuts.

i have no idea what a skp file is ,so no icant read it ,lol. but if you could send me the templates i can give it a shot.:thumb:

.skp files are SketchUp files. SketchUp is a free 3d program which you can get here:
http://www.sketchup.com/download
It is my favourite 3d program (because it is the only 3d program I can operate :mrgreen. I recommend using the original model for reference when you try to assemble the template.
