Salvaded a steam and decaled it and a Niagra. Looks pretty good.

I have a very old Rivarossi 0-8-0 that had a wheel lose and I retired to a box in the garage for a later sale for parts.

I found it today and epoxied the wheel back on.

I was looking for a NYC Niagra to decal for C&O when I found it.

If I got the wheel aligned correctly with the rods it should be a good runner if used sparingly.

I decaled them both for C&O after painting the tenders flat black. Almost finished with that now.

Later I will dull coat the tenders and engines so they match.

I have been looking forward to decaling the Niagra for some time.

Not yet but it seems the Dull Coat made the clear part of the decalls stand out realy badly.

I may have to strip it and look for other decals.
I wonder if it would have been better to clear coat it then use the dull coat?

I have never had a problem befor.

Shouldn't have been a problem to dulcoat over the decals after finishing. That's how I always do it.

bad batch maybe?
