    Hi folks,

starting my building report about the Ostarrichi Draken. The original plane was a tribute of the austrian air force to celebrate 1000 years of austria. Therefore you can find the letters "Ostarrichi" on top of the plane - the first naming of austria in 996.

The model was reskinned by Michael Klement from austria and the basis is the model No. 48 of Geli Modellbau Klagenfurt.

Not to tell you a very long story, but the main thing is:

YOU CAN HAVE THIS KIT FOR FREE !!!

Just join www.kartonbau.de - the german sister forum, and try it. You will find the model in the download section and yes, we will also have a version in the letter format.

Construction starts with the first three middle segments of the hull. The method is well known for the plane enthusiast in this community.

First two segments come together - main thing is the clean connection for the letters of the hull skin.

The cockpit section comes together. As always with Geli models, you have to cut out the opening after assembly of the hull.
