S track road locking road bed, is this road bed "noisy" transfering the rolling stock noise to the board or table, being that it is hollow plastic?

I guess it depends on where you set it up. :D When my son sets his up on the rug, it's quiet. I imagine it would be considerably noisier on a sheet of ply wood. I've heard of people setting it on Woodland Scenic foam road bed, which would reduce the noise. Have you used any other scale's track with the same design? Bachmann in HO and MTH in O gauge come to mind. For my layout, I'm going with flex track on the foam road bed.

thank you for your response, I plan on a permanent set up on a 3/4 inch plywood built table, lazy as I am the the S helper locking track looked easy, LOL but still undecided. I thought of using the standard cork bed bed but unsure because of my failing eyes as to if I could be able to attach the road bed and track to the board, once again thanks
