Bionic Modeler

OK, are you actuall cutting out the railings? Every time I try tha I end up almost finished and then screw it up at the end. I have been using the thread and superglue techniqe. But I must say yours look exceptional. So what is your secret?

ladders and railings

Hi friends,

because of some work in the house there was not so much time for modeling.
So I made just some ladders and railings

cut out the sides, doubled with cardboard

p1050990iy9.jpg

p1050991vv2.jpg

Notice:

the masts structure is conic so it`s impossible to assemble through the deck #74.
Best way is to build the mast structure first, then put the deck over it from the top......understandable?

best regards FLU

I have to say that the barrels look better when made from alloy.

Flu: Very nice work, beautifully done. I am taking notes as I have a similar (much less detailed) project that I am building (Imperator Pavel I). Your model has already shown me several major errors I made in my construction. My interpretation of drawings available to me were very, very wrong.

Any idea what the rails on the bridge structures were for? For searchlights?
