    Hello modelers
I would like to show you my new works. The first model is romulan bird of prey and the second is U.S.S. Almeida. Both of them are TOS-era design. I'm working now on S.S. Brisbane (Aurora class). I'd be grateful if you tell me your feeling about my models and what could be better.:thumb:

The Bird of prey was my second "computer created" card model. The texture I made in Photoshop but still I'm not satisfied with it. The Almeida has better texture already. With the each one model I gain experience to make it better . The bad point is that I have no time to build them, and to be honest to create it amuse me more than to build it:cool:. Now I'm still working on S.S. Brisbane but I'm thinking about my next model already......not sure yet.....but the Defiant could be nice challenge:thumb:

Nice! if you have the others done and want others to build them you can throw them in the download area :) If they are over 2mb mail them to me at cgutzmer @ gmail . com and I can upload them for you!

I'm still still working on the model but as long as I'll finish it, will be the model available to all who want to build it on the sci-fi paper models | like the others models I've done. It will be in pdf format. Size about 12 Mb. Resolution 300 dpi. The point is that I got so much to do that I have no time build my own models wall1 , so I would like to see some pictures of models from people they already build them, but still nothing

    Great Work, Horrisman!
    (one could sa, like allways...:thumb:)

    Just a little thought,
the models of the Aurora-Class and of the Tholian Web-Spinner essentially were one and the same model,
as Star Trek TOS was a low budget series, they recycled everything they could.
In this case, it meant turning the Web-Spinner around 180 degrees, add some federation warpdrives
and a new paintjob and finally a change of "nationality" - and the Aurora was born.

    Now a petty please:
How about something ommiting "unneeded parts", add new textures and some essential details
and a return to the "previous owners? (Hint ,Hint :inw:)

    Greetings from Vienna!

Yes I know that the Aurora is a reworked Tholian Web-Spinner. I've seen a model of the Tholian ship somewhere on the internet but I don't know where. I found a model of the Tholian Web-Spinner from the Enterprise serie on the Bridge Commander, Bridge Commander Downloads - FileFront.com which is a mod model for the bridge commander game. I will use this model maybe in the future as a base for new mesh

But now I work on the Delta Flyer. I know about two models of DF. I plan to make some more detailed model including cockpit, cargo space, landing gear and some other items.

you going to include the pop out impulse drives? or is this going to be the earlier version? got to be a good size to incorperate an interior.

I for one would welcome an "In A Mirror, Darkly" Tholian Webspinner! :)

Fantastic work all the way around, very clean and nicely detailed. What program do you use? Are these done in CAD, or a 3D program? It's becoming difficult to tell the difference any more. It seems the programs are all becoming more and more compatible with each other.

to nothing: Yes the pop out impulse drives will be included :yep:
I'm not sure about size yet....but it will be long about 30 cm.

to CJTK1701: I use Rhinocerros 3D. I think is one of the best software for cardmodelling. I tried AutoCad and 3D Max Studio but Rhinocerros ist the best :thumb:
