    Hi y'all,

I've got an HO Roco mine train that runs on N track. I have been thinking about adding it to my layout at some point.

I bought this thing about 20 years ago and it's still in the box. It has a Plymouth diesel, I think it's a Plymouth, and I'd like to get the steam engine that's shown on the box (the box shows several mine scenes) or modify the Plymouth to something much earlier (I don't know what I'm talking about).

Also I'd like to acquire or build a few new mine cars.

    Thanks,

That's cool set! I would love to buy your diessel if you get the steam model.   Bad news is they are all out of stock    It's backordered at walthers :( It's number 625-33201, which is useful to order elsewhere too.

You can run those babies on this really cool, rustic track. They call it HOe, in the U.S. it's called HOn30.

    Roco 7' Dump Car HOn30:Walthers Part # 625-34500

7' Cement Dump Car: Walthers Part # 625-34501

Timber Car: Walthers Part # 625-34502

12' Mine Dump Car: Walthers Part # 625-34506

Until if/when they become available, we'll just have to learn to make our own!:D :D :D

Thanks for the replies and the links!

I'm not sure what I want to do with the little guy yet.

Here's a good link from the Atlas forum.

Check out those prices! Maybe I ought to sell it on eBay.;)

JOJO, I might be interested in time, not right now, but in time, if we can't find it local.

Jim, those prices are actually good. Considerable less than Walthers List Price. I would expect to pay 50 to 300% more for similar items even in HO.

You're right about the prices, of course. I payed about $10 for the set at a clearance sale, but that was 20 years ago. Bobbye Hall's in Dallas, I think.
