I am waiting in cue as we type! I am already thinking on what to do with the canopy!!
Just to bring little nostalgia, Loefn did great build of old version with scratched cockpit:
Awesome find, mate!
Yep, @loenf is a class 1 modeler and his pics are a joy to look at.
I guess we'll be some happy campers when this baby is ready..!
This cockpit looks good! It has quite a bit of greebling potential.
Shunichi thinks about adding a cockpit frame only. The glass should be made of clear plastics.
A first glimpse at the plans:
The page count has increased by two because of the interior and smaller additional details. The weathering was faithfully copied from the original studio model.
BTW, @Rhaven Blaack : I guess we'll be busy adding a landing gear to it!
I am looking forward to building it!
Wonderfull. Seems it will be out soon.
I'm checking his site daily. So far there are no further updates yet.
New update from designer. He did test build, correct few inacuracies and is working on assembly instruction.
The side guns are very tricky. Shunichi is not pleased with the outcome and intends to remake them - by using a thin rod or wire as stabilizer.
IT IS DONE!!!
I just can not wait and started to experiment with old version today
That looks FANTASTIC!
And cockpit! Methinks me going to rebuild me's A-Wing (just use clear plastic for the canopy )
Model is released.
Thank you very much for the note, @bigpetr !
AND THANK YOU, SHUNICHI, FOR THIS BEAUTIFUL MODEL!
I hope next will be the Sandcrawler. The general shape is flawless but the back needs more detail. If you add the detailing you will end up with the best Sandcrawler paper model to date.
That looks FANTASTIC!!!
I have downloaded it!!!
