I don't know where 80,000 new employees will be going since all the railroads want is to slash it's workforce.

NCCC Section 6 notices (the carriers wishlist) calls for one man road crews with crew sizes to be determined by individual railroads. This coupled with job losses from the remote control leads me to believe that number is grossly inflated.

Most likely more like 8,000. That would just about cover the retiree's..............
