You should have no problem beating a MGT, is your engine worn out? Any hop ups on the truck? How much do much do you want to spend on an engine?

get the ofna picco p2. It will cost around 200.00 depending on were you get it from. It is a direct fit to the 2.5 chassis even though it is a .21 motor. It comes with a special motor mount so it will fit.

Are you getting beat by one in top end or on a track?
How did you break in your engine?

Speed should not be a problem on the track, keeping a four wheels planted around corners is, I use thicker oil in the shocks and lower the truck as much as posible. Also drop all the weight you can and rotating mass, ie. reverse and use lighter tire/ rim combos.
Also the best hop up for the track, a good high torque servo.
