Removal of body shell from a Bachman locomotive EMD SD-24 I .

Please could you help me get the body shell off a Bachman locomotive EMD SD-24 I .
I would like to open it to check it out.
I have not been able to find a way to get the body shell off . I unscrewed 4 screws but it still will not separate. It looks as if the coupler is stopping the removal of the shell.
Having already broken a small part I decided to it would be better to stop and get some help

Bachmann didnt make a SD24. Maybe your refering to a Tyco or Atlas model (if its an atlas i personally wouldnt do it)

yeah, Bachmann did not make an SD24. IHC does, and Atlas made SD24s years ago, and has just started making more.

I rechecked and I cannot find any makers mark, my mistake . Its new and the only markings on the box are International Hobby Corp Pennsylania # 7105 SD 24. Anyway I solved the problem. Thanks for the information

I've always found that dropping it on the floor does the trick.
