I was looking for the long announced Roco GP40-2 with DCC and sound, initially to be due this October.
I wanted to know if they would came with RP25 or NEM flanges, and as my usual shop don't had any news about this loco, I contacted with Rainer Hartmann, of All-American Trains, because this guy is always well informed about new releases.

The -bad- news are that, apparently due to some moves in Roco (my assumption is, in plain words: people fired/"reorganized"?), this GP40-2 project and the AC4400 have been put in the fridge by now. :(

The only GP40-2 that seems available are two DCC-initiation boxes with a CSX or UP locomotives, tracks and so.

When I visited the Roco webpage last summer, they had sligthy changed the logo and it were infos about "new corporate image". I should have know better: "new corporate image" always means discontinued projects and people "reorganized"... :(
