RE --- Railroad Stations

** To make it a lttle more interesting here is another of my old station

* This is Frankford Station before it's major rebuild. At this time the long platform was starting to show it's age. Built during the Civil War to help accomidate large troop movements it was made of wood. This made for fast, low cost construction. Planing was in progress to replace the entire station and track plan. Additional platforms are to be added with a underground ramp connecting those platforms. Frankford was moving into it's future as a major transportation hub for it's comunity.

RE --- Railroad Stations. Another one .

** Frankford Station again. This time I have rearanged the buildings. It is still that time before the first major reconstruction was started. Here you can see Locomotives from the 1930's and 1940's. It is a little different to see a Challanger replaceing Americans and Alantics. Most everything else remains the same.

Lower Snake Gultch Station

Lower Snake Gultch station. To the left is the Snake Gultch bypass station. This is a station that i made from scratch following a plan by Edwin P. Alexander in his Civil War Railroads & Models book.

Hey Mountain Man you took the same question about the bottle caps right out of my mouth. I figured toptrain1 would say something like that or they gotta go somewhere right. They do look good & along with the whole scene, it looks great.

Frankford Station

This is the first track realinement and remote platform instulation. The most outward main line track was swung out to allow for the platform to be installed. This worked but wasn't realy as good as it could be. Another relocation was in the future for Frankford station.

Frankford Station

Can i edit, AHHH yes I can.

*Here I have put the next change to Frankford station. As can be seen the other main line track now runs thro the old location of remote platform. This new station now can handle three passenger trains at one time.
*The second photo shows all three tracks in use. two holding passenger trains and on the center a CNJ freight pulls thro the station.
