    In Michigan where is the Grand Trunk Western.Here Columbia we have a Sw1500 that goes beteen here and Centralra and services small factors in beteen.The name is Colt and its run by Columbia power and light co. John

    Hi John:
    The main GTW line runs from Port Huron to Chicago via Flint, Battle Creek and South Bend. Its part of Canadian National now.* There are some CN branches to Dearborn and Toledo that may have been GTW.


    * Actually, its been part of CN since CN was formed.

    THAT WAS NEAT SEE A NOTE ABOUT THE GT, I LIVED IN SAGINAW,MI FOR 45 YEARS. AND LET ME TELL YOU, GENERAL MORTORS COULD NOT HAVE MADE IT WITH OUT THE GT.
