But i have a question regarding the first photo with the sd40-2 that has some of the housing missing and walkways all roped off?

Is it possible the Unit was DOA, or that it is in process of being made into a slug or R/C?

5547 is actually an SD40; it has been stored since '02 according to http://www.trainweb.org/galt-stn/cproster/locomotive/5500s/cp5547.htm

Probably been cannibalized for parts. It looked pretty spiffy when new! :thumb:
