rack for cog railway

    i need to find somewhere to buy the rack for a cog
    railway
    O scale or larger
    or an easy way to make it ?

    i have thier catolog but was hoping somewhere there was something cheaper than $3.50 a foot lol

    Yeah, SDP is rather proud of thier components.

    McMaster-Carr? They're like Grainger, but with more stuff. They may have it.

    Unless you have a gear shaper or an old horizontal mill, I wouldn't try making it. How many feet are you looking to procure?

    i need at least 6 feet to ten feet

    LGB has a package of twelve for $34
    has anyone used this kind?

    I've used LGB rack, for LGB rack locomotives. It works just fine for them...
