    Hello,

I am currently taking my HO scale Layout down to make room for my children's play area in a 11 x 13 room off our Rec Room. I'm thinking about either keeping a small section up or just making a portable layout in the room to run some trains. Area I am thinking about keeping is about 3 X 8 with a small side area branching off about 2 feet out by 2 feet.

1). Any thoughts on a good layout configuration?

2). Are N scale locomotives as dependable as HO?

3). Do N Scale trains use the magnet system to uncouple as HO do?

4). Does N Scale come in DCC Sound?

    Thanks, Greg

How about transformers/controllers? what kind of transformer do you need for N scale? Anything in particular? what key search words should you look for on ebay for an N scale transformer?

    Hello,

As far as transformers, controllers, decoders - I have all them. I sell NCE DCC systems, Procab's and decoders on the internet and ebay. I have a home based business and love it. I'll be using the NCE Powerhouse Pro 5 AMP with a Procab wireless throttle. I want to purchase some DCC engines (Atlas & Broadway Limited to run w/ sound). I would like to have a coal mining area and a beer factory and with some other things.

    Thanks for your emails,
