    I can't find any good cardboard big enough on this stupid island, can anyone help me find some?

    I'm building the USS Arizona from digitalnavy. I live on Oahu and I've checked many stores but can't find anything bigger than 12x6

    Roman's Arizona might be big enough to escape in; I would stay away from firing the guns though......wonder what the enlargement factor would be? :p

    Frame matting works well for the heaviest card. You might try a picture framing store for the 1 mm stuff.

    I'd recommend looking for poster board and laminating it to the thickness you need. In my experience, picture frame mat is difficult to work with--because it is so dense.
