im geussing nitro motors are sort of like car motors, a .15 motor would make more power than a .15, like a 450 has more hp than a 302.
thats what im geussing, i could be wrong though.
    some one help me

you put .15 twice...but I get what you mean, in most cases you are correct. But like real car motors it all depends on the moddification it has, a turbo charged 302 can out perform a stock 450 or at least beat it at accelloration.

Nitro motors can be ported, you can change the carb, header, and the pipe among other things to get better performance.

    You get what I mean?

so a .12 would beat a .15, or the other way around

Not always. Displacement is not always a good indicator to judge one motor to another. You need to consider that there are differnt types of nitro car motors and some are designed for play and ease of use while others are for maximum power.

A .12/.15/.18 motor from a RTR kit will not be on a par with a pure racing .12 motor.
