So... Some of you might be waiting for a release... Well Tang is quite aware of the sort of people who simply collects models but not build them...... So here's the deal: You build the chest, show him, and he'll send you the rest.

Go to the PPXClub forums and register, then check this thread:
    http://www.ppxclub.com/forum/57018-1-1
Download the files for the chest, build it, post pictures onto the forum in a new thread (PPXClub, Paper Model Section), leaving your email in your post.
--And the model would be sent to you by email!

As Tang puts it, "It's your fault not building the model" :D

Interesting way of doing it. I totally understand his reasons too after all of the request posts here.

However, it's unfortunate for those who collect models for future builds. Designers do vanish on occasion so it would be a shame if that happened to Tang and his wonderful model.

Maybe his method will start a nw trend for model release? As well as a flood of PTX-15R model threads! LOL!

    Well done Tang! :)

As designers we all share the experience of thousands of downloads but not a single build thread... Well he's got the problem solved in an elegant way!

No I like it, not disputing his method. I'd have loved to have been able to see some of my models built up by others. Sadly I've only seen a handful of build threads of my models and they've all been by the same 2 members(naming no names, you know who you are ;) ).

Another member has built two of mine and helped me greatly with the pics but unfotunatley that was it.

I think this could be a good way for a designer to actually see how others enjoy the models we design, not just hear about it or get asked, "when's it gonna be ready?".

Nicely put. I agree. And I'll be the first to admit my guilt in this. I have the Strike Noir already printed out and on my to-do list, but it keeps getting shifted lower down!

That sounds suspiciously like "Field of dreams" : 'If you build it, they will come...'
    hmmm... New forum slogan..? :p
