Great job so far! Can't wait to see the rest of your build.

-Stevo, there's a title at the top. I'm sure you can use google to figure out what that is. Type Gundam EX-S head. :thumb:

Getter,

Which other one might you be referring to? There was a 1:24 scale bust in Model Graphix magazine in the mid 1980s, is that the one?

Yeah Steve, thats what he was talking about. However, compared to the EX-S conversion kits, I believe this one is based on the Neograde. Actually, it looks more like the head on the cover of the Sentinel Graphic book. :)

Yeah that's the one Getter1 was referring to. I have a copy of that one too, I just have been intimidated with building it!sign1 No instructions. So I have been procrastinating on that one. :p

57TM and Soaring,

Indeed that would be the one. The book says it's 1/20 but I wonder if I printed it to that size as I didn't know bout scaling at the time I built it. Here's the thread I posted that model on,

http://www.zealot.com/forum/showthread.php?t=122488

I want to get it finished but my fingers are still splinted up ATM :(

ltla9000311,

Not trying to hijack here :D Your build is great.

Now only if you would resize your head to fit on the full version... :)

Soaring, don't think I haven't thunk it!:p I have been thinking for quite awhile now on scaling it up to make a "helmet" to wear! BUT then I would have to do the rest of the body (arms, legs, torso etc etc etc) So I could have the WHOLE thing! I just don't have the ability to do that just yet!:curse:

Ohhhh......I follow ya now.hamr Well now that I'm on the proper page here, does anyone HAVE THE REST of that particular EX-S model? I would consider scaling that up, it would take me awhile, but worth it I think!

Another Pic

Here is a pic of what I have done so far on the head. A couple of mistakes along the way, but very happy with the outcome so far.

I bought those magazines when they first came out. This was the first paper model that I built. I photocopied the pages and built it with copy paper. Came out slightly warped but otherwise OK. I thought the flexible conduits were very clever. I'm pretty sure there were instructions in the magazine. Let me dig them out from the back of the garage and see. If there are I can send them along.

That would be awesome! You sound like you are a bit of a collector like me.:thumb: My girlfriend wants to know if you have a significant other that has to step around your stuff too?

Yes I'm a collector of sorts. The problem is I cant figure out how to narrow down my interests. And yes my wife steps over my stuff, well actually, we step over each other's stuff all the time. She scrapbooks and we both collect Disney stuff so its mutual.
