This was a little project I did kind of on a whim this past spring…
I had seen some similar type things on a couple of other forums, so I thought I’d try my own version of a diorama on a jar lid…
I had this tiny scratchbuilt trestle that I had salvaged from an N scale layout I had torn down, & I had a couple of other pieces of N scale junk that I added, & built a little scene around it…the whole thing is about 6” in diameter…
I call this “Planters Creek” (for obvious reasons)

Congratulations, very impressive diorama.
It really looks like a wild spot in the Rockies.
I'm building a micro-layout right now, and I'm looking for some small size engines and rolling stock, yours seems it might fill the bill. Who is manufacturing that small size engines and ore cars ?

Imho, building a diorama is the best way to get starting in model railroad scenery.
