Very cool! Is that the old Revell kit?
Sweet!!!! Wish I had room for one of those!
Nice model philip. That looks like a large pier you have.
I just love gantry cranes. That looks to be a great scene. Keep posting!
I love those 'cranes" as well...even have one off the pier ... nice scene developing. Keep the pictures coming, always looking for more inspiration
Hey, just to let you know, the Revell kit crack was just a joke
thanks to all.
Worst Blake....Model power! Still has pretty good detail for a cheapie.
Oh........ man...........Satokuma thats a nice one!
I've got a Model Power version too! You're right, its not bad!
The issue ofThe Railway Magazine that's in my book store has a picture of a dock with 3 of those cranes in a row and the world's smallest 0-4-0T switcher among them.
sorry technical trouble with my new lousy digital camera
thanks for looking again.
Its good to see your progress philip. It is coming along nicely.
Yes, it is. I really like what you're doing with that scene. I was passing by Redpath Sugar the other day and noticed they have 3 of those cranes as well. Didn't have my camera, but it's on my to do list for sure!
Keep those pix coming!
Speaking of boats, that's a real cool one you've got there!
Val, Post some of those pier pics when you get a chance.
Here is a couple of images
This scuba dude is dressed up but no water in site.
slightly different angle.
Much more later. The building dock on top and the lower level is all hand laid. The DPM building is modified a whole lot. Many changes. The pier walls are hydrocal castings that I made just for this scene. One day in the future it will be presentable.
