She was eye candy defined. I remember very very young seeing a picture of her midriff up naked, standing in a pool surrounded by "nature". I discovered how powerful boobs could be that day. I was in the single digits of age, but may have become sentient that day. ;)

+ Sound out the Galleon +

ollias-moorglademover.jpg

Sound out the galleon to travel to cross
close the space between pastures
as rightly attained.
As old stands to plunder
expectant as one dear companion can utter
the right we achieve.

Climb summer mornings and tell me of days past
did we all to sing of the praises of love
And is one hand raised high in the dark.

Total relating appointed close factors
of what we regard as the answer lies there,
and is one hand raised high in the dark.

There stands Olias to outward to build a ship
Holding within all we hope to retain.
The frame will be so built to challenge the universe
clasped with the skins of the fish of the plain.

Mastered volcano erupt with the pleasure
and sing to the power, we will sail to the East,
and all hands shall rise to the call

DO GA RIYTAN SHA TOO RAYTAN

GAN MATTA SHA PA
MUTTO MATTO MUTTO

RADAN ATTO RADDAN ATTO
STOU TO MUTTO SHA GO TEKA
SHA GO TEKA
D E I
Sighting our vision Ranyart will precision us
from all our points to our destined recall
and shall all but rejoice to it all.

There stands Qoquaq and shall point to the four corners,
reaching out faster shall overtake you.
To bring you to safety to travel away
from this moment that's rightly attained as your view.

So sound out the galleon to travel to cross
close the space between pastures
as rightly attained.
As old stands to plunder
expectant as one dear companion can offer
the right we achieve.

I'm a big fan of YES, and Jon Anderson, music with lyrics that really have meaning, transgressing all theologies, and ideologies, uniting, not dividing. I've been to 8 of their concerts, starting from 1976! I saw their best works live, while they were still on the charts, laser shows and all. ;)

I was 50 feet in front of those speaker towers, about 25 feet from the stage. One of the best concerts ever. That magical summer in Connecticut of 1976! :)

My first exposure to Yes (at least when I knew who they were ...) was the song "Homewolrd (The Ladder)" that played during the end credits of the 1999 PC game Homeworld. Loved it, not "bubble-gum pop" which we get so much of these days.... :stinkyfeet:

Homeworld game which is still brilliant after all these years ;)

WoW! I had to think real hard to remember what I was doin in 76... took awhile... was in Oahu, NAS Barbers Point Naval Air Station. 75/76 spent 3 days in Diamond Head Crater at the annual Diamond Head Concert. Had to be in 76 I saw Kiss Alive tour in Honolulu but might have been 75... Most of my concert days were in the 60's and early 70's!

Started listening to Yes with the very first albums Close to the Edge and Fragile..still have them all!

For those that are curious - neat music.

My first exposure was 90125, then Big Generator. Great Albums. In Homeworld my favorite song was Samuel Barber's Song Agnus Dei (Adagio For Strings).

It plays just after the ship does it's first hyperwarp and their planet Kharrak gets burned by the Taiidan. Epic music.

YES, part of today's music, which will be considered "Classical" in the future, we're living it! ;)

Yes it's interesting that as time moves forward you become the dusty history book! Trends move faster than they did "back in the day" whenever that was. Eventually, things will be moving so fast that you'll have all different types of trends sort of coexisting simultaneously being accepted and discarded and re-accepted in a matter of a day or hour depending on the whim of the user or whatever is termed to be acceptable at the moment according to "the web".

Just a thought.
