Here some pics I took at the Big E model railroad show in Springfield Mass yesterday. Great deals and great meals(Gotta have a chili dog if you go).
Lots of moduals in ALL the scales.
This first one is an HO scale seaport scene.

"Hey Billybob. Whats that strange contraption on track 2?"
A wild west modual, complete with shoot-outs, bank robbers and a cattle drive.

And if you don't like operating those smaller "wimpy" scales, Pioneer Valley Live Steamers brought some of their 1:8 scale eqipment.
Ohhhh...If only I had a REAL BIG yard!

And here's the haul!
Spectrum H16-44 Better-half bought. The guy wanted $25, but I knocked him down to $20 because the hand rails need repair.
And a new Athern GP-35. Good deal at $60.00. Figures though, one of my local LHS guys that was there had the cheapest one.
It was fun. Lots to see. I highly recomend it!
