Piaggio Vespa 150 Scooter
I have been looking for a good model of a Vespa for quite a while. I want to model probably the most unusual Assault Gun ever conceived.
Several hundred were built by the French and used in North Africa during the Algerian war. And yes the driver fired the 75 MM recoilless while driving,
That looks superb, and just the sort of model I like. I am amazed at the number of quality models you are producing - and eternally grateful.
Can you give us a hint as to what the scale is? I should like to resize it to match the rest of my two-wheelers and it would save a lot of trouble making measurements and looking up specifications if you already have that info.
Should this not have the Italian flag on it instead of the Union Jack???
work in progress
Hi Jules , I'm working on it.
Great work , big enough 1:10 or more.
I print it in 150g/m2 paper glossy , lying to the printer as usual.
Looks pretty , do you build it before publishing ?,or I'm pushing the frontiers of modelling?
this model [150 Piaggio Vespa Scooter] is really extraordinary; high precision.
Haha good point steve, umm I just modeled it from a photo reference
that's my probelm too, too lazy to measure the scale haha.
I never build my models, no test build, even my first WALL-E I haven't got the time build it, design new models instead of build . The last model I build myself was my T-90 at julescrafter, more than a year ago.
that's cool.. Jim, what type of vespa is that?
great model thanks jules
That's OK Jules, just you keep on designing!
What would help (in many ways, not just for scale) would be if you could provide a non-perspective side view of your CG model. Either full-size for the model as published, or at a simple ratio (half or one third say). [End and top views would also be nice, but not so important.]
Add on for Vespa 150 - Vespa Girl at http://paper-replika.com
It just keeps getting better. Thanks for sharing.
Oops i did it again......
Hello Julius , yes I completed the bike.
Lot of fun , and thanks for this beatiful model.
In a few days I'm going to finish the girl .
I completed the report here, in Zealot, and
In maquetas en papel are done.
Wow ... nicely completed. Unless you looked close, it would be very easy to mistake it for real.
wow Jorge, I agree with Stev0 , you even made its keys, superb addition! great job Jorge.:thumb:
Great model! now all that is needed is the Triumph Bonnevlile for a 60's British Bank Holiday!
Did you know this woman?
Finish , hard work to fit she's body in to the bike.
Finally everything done.
Now I find one mistake , I forget the jaw strip.
Well I look for it.
nice, thanks jorge. I already put your pics on my homepage
What is her name? =)
