Depending on how the pictures were added to the post, some pictures will be there, some will not.
those pictures which were added as attachments are gone, there is no way for the admins to recover those pictures from the old site.
So if you remember which ones you added as attachments to your posts, then please if you have time and the patience to add them back, please do.
Also if you want to prevent this from happening, upload pictures to free hosting sites, like photobucket or imageshack, or to the space your ISP gives you.
This will prevent you from having to redo posts and it will help when we move sites if the need arises.
As for the Gallery on this site, i have no idea what is wrong with, my fellow admin Peter Davis might.
