Canada, eh?
Coupla' questions....What are MLW's..?? And...does Alco still make locos..?
BTW...The paint scheme of the D&H is among my favourites...Got class...!!

Gus, Montreal Locomotive Works was an affiliate or licensee of Alco, and they continued building locomotives for several years after Alco quit the business.
This paint scheme, shown in a photo by my good friend cn nutbar, is my favourite modern paint scheme.
I think the guy in the picture is checking to find out why it's not making smoke! ;):p:-D:-D

Sorry I couldn't keep playing 'til midnight, I have an early start today, and I had to get to bed!

However, I can still play off of Wayne's last pic, and keep the MLW party rolling!

Heyyyyy....... ! Isn't that cheatin', Doc? :excited1:

I thought the rule was same railroad or model or car type.... not just the same builder!

He snuck that one by me:confused: I wasn't paying enough attention. I kind of have this thing for ALCOs of anykind like someone else I know. Maybe it is the same road number. I can't make it out on the small s1 shot?
We have to deduct points from Doc's score.:violin1:
Charlie

OOPS! :eek:ops: You are correct and I apologise, but I really did think that my picture was of an S-1. The paint scheme must've confused me. :p;):-D Or I had smoke in my eyes. Yeah! Yeah! That's it: diesel smoke.
