I picked up the May issue of Trains last night and they mentioned that Lee Van Visse passed away at his home in Feb, he will be sadly missed within the railroad community. I very much enjoyed his input and insight into the hobby. Our condolonces to his family. Ron, Shirley & family...

Gee I didn't know that, I remember when Lee Vande Visse was technical Illustrator for Model Railroader magazine, in fact he had an amazing 0n3 layout.
Sadly missed my condolonces to his family.

    Sad News...

Yeah, I remember when he did most, if not all of the track plan illustrations for MR...I also remember several great articles on scratchbuilding, & scenery, featuring his On3 layout.
My condolences to his family, friends, & collegues

What a tragic shame. His articles were always the first I would read.
