I was wanting to paint the trucks and the roof of my stewart F7A. It has a factory paint job with the trucks being unpainted of course. I was going to airbrush "testors" enamel silver. Do I need to use a primer? I also have some Testors acrylic but I don't think it looks as good.

Thanks, IronMule

Canada, eh?
As I recall, the Stewart sideframes aren't Delrin, they're styrene of some sort. Airbrushing the Testors should work fine, although the silver might look better if you use a gray primer under it. If the roof is a dark colour, a gray primer might also help here. Otherwise, spray the Testors on with light coats and it should be fine.
