Orange VA Depot

    The following are a group of interesting buildings including the Orange VA Southern Rwy depot and a group of commercial buildings directly across the track from it. You can still see the "sanitary grocery" markings on one. The left most building was a saloon.

    Very interesting pictures! Thanks for sharing! I'm particularly intrigued by the Montpelier station. Looks like a nice place to visit.

    I took more then 100 shots at that location. It includes a small baggae shed on an abondoned siding, an old genral store (converted to the Montpelir visitor center) and tow residential buildings flanking the visitor center just across the road from the depot itself. Add the overpass to the plantation grounds from VA 20 and its a "gold mine" to attempt to model.
