Due to the mass resignation of Mods, caused by the ridiculous rule by Crowdgatherers that Moderators cannot moderate elsewhere - despite the fact that they are unpaid and give their time freely for the love of the hobby - Open season has been declared for spammers, scammers and con artists to post on Zealot. Hope CG are happy with their lunatic decision:cry::rolleyes::eek:

PS - I think we need a "mooning" smiley!

The people at this forum that donot share the benefits of bounty, should at least give those that work for free. space to do as they please.

I have seen forums bigger then this crumble and fall like an automotive giant. That forum was 8 years old and 25,000 strong.

If anyone wants a stable place to show off their work try www.scratchbuildersguild.com

All those people out there that want to advertise their little blue pills, and things to extend parts of your anatomy, and point you towards dubious websites. Believe me they will start to crawl out of the woodwork, and if you follow their links you will find (and get) lots of nasty things that you didn't expect. Too many forums have been ruined or closed down because they didn't have moderation, and the undesirables and trolls have taken over - it seems that CG want this one to go the same way, by making the ridiculous assumption that Moderators can't do the same thing elsewhere - they should be delighted that there are people with the experience, ability, and desire to do it - rather than issuing darn silly edicts like that. On that basis the same thing should be applied to the members, and if they belong to other groups and forums, they can't be members here - they might taint this one!:curse::curse::curse:

Mountain Man you know as well as everyone else that Ron's site didn't crash your internet connection. Everyone here is wondering what is going on, but trying to chew off the forum members heads as well as all the staff is really childish. Do what you should have done in the first place and contact the people that are responsible for all the changes. I for one feel that the moderators have done a fantastic job in the time I have been a member here. I don't feel they owe me an explanation for anything they do, unless THEY think I need one. I wish them all the best in whatever they decide to do. Might be nice if we all helped support the sites that they are moving to or are moderators in, instead of feeling sorry for ourselves. Its just too bad we couldn't all just pack up our posts and move them somewhere else. It would be really sad to see all of the great posts dissapear forever.

What I know is that trying to open the link crashed my computer. It isn't debatable by anyone else on this forum because none of you were at the keyboard at the timne, nor do you have a single shred of data to back up your statements. I, on the other hand, do.

Now, if you and the rest of the self-righteous do-gooders want to actually read the post, that is all it says. I opened the link; it crashed my computer, no thanks.

I didn't say it was his fault, I didn't accuse him of anything, and I did not blame him for it. I simply said what happened to me.

The real danger to this forum isn't spammers; it's self-appointed lynch mobs like this one. You will be the reason this forum ultimately fails.

Mountain Man, everyone here has a right to their own opinion, not only you. If you were as smart as you seem to think you are, you would realize this. You have been doing nothing but complain and call people down for no reason. I said you were acting like a child, because you are, plain and simple. That is how a child acts when they don't get their own way, not the way a 65 year old man should be acting. If anyone here will be the ruin of this forum it is you with your lousy attitude, not me.
