"OO" Bachmann Super Voyager tilt problem?

Hello and happy new year, can anybody help me?
I have just got a "Bachmann Super Voyager Class 221 - 5 Car DMU" for christmas, "OO" Gauge.
It looks great but has problems.
The train tilts as it should but it causes drag, as if something is rubbing. This drag slows the train down to almost a stop! (The bends that are difficut to travel around are 2nd and 3rd radius, which should be OK)
I have exchanged the set for another and have the same problem, it may be a design fault, can anyone offer any advise?

Hi Dominic,
I'm just guessing here ...
If the tilt is linked mechanically to the turning angle of the trucks,
then any resistance to tilting would be reflected back to the wheels
keeping them skewed and rubbing between the rails. Use powdered
graphite maybe, to lube the tilt mechanism, and make sure everything
is free to move. Like I said ...
