This is one of my favorite shots in my collection. Just two H8s passing in the mountains
the headlight is especially impressive. The lighting is also excellent. The reflection from the boiler jacket looks very real.
Kevin is right, a good looking photo of two good-looking locomotives. And while most people are aware of my disdain for working headlights on my own locos, yours looks very effective. However, is this photo a prelude to another look at your equally attractive wreck crane or are you just testing our powers of observation? The lead wheel on that big trailing truck of the 1633 has climbed the rails and will soon be tearin' up the ties. And believe me, Lester, I'm not laughing: I can't count the number of my own photos that I've found that had something amiss. Keep 'em rollin', it's still a great picture.
