    ... Southern Oakland. That's where it ran into trouble, because the tracks connected with the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) tracks. With a full head of steam, the train full of actors, cows and music boxes...

    (BART is an electric light-rail system (or at least was in the early eighties when I lived there). Mainly elevated tracks)

    ...every one waited with baited breath to see if the train was headed for the tunnel under the bay..it was !! the engineer scrambled frantically to douse the fire, not wanting to suffer from smoke inhalation ,just then the music box started to belt out " San Franisco here I come " thinking it was a "Nickleodeon ".....
