Older Athearn Exploded Parts View

Does anyone have or know where I can get a real old set of exploded parts view for GP7 / 9

I need the part number for the bottom gear box clip,it's the one that has the openings at the top of the clip that clip onto the knubs on the ends of the gear box sides

Is this the Athearn GP 9/7 picture you are looking for? This is the oldest diagram in the collection.

I would like to see a picture of the older Athearn train. I thought the diagram and instructions above were the oldest GP 9/7 Athearn made. You may have something I need to look for.

HOseeker,it's not a dual gear drive as referenced in the diagram linked by you, they are Blomberg Power Trucks Non Flywheel type if you know what I mean.Here's a link that I found on ebay and hopefully this will help out.

No problem,
The bottom cover from the early 70s era U28B, U30B and U33B will also interchange if you find one of those.
