    2d gaming figures.....

All right guys, since I haven't learned how to use Pepakura, or any other CAD program yet, I'm teaching myself to use Photoshop.wall1 So with that in mind, I have decided to try my hand at 2D figures for gaming. I was inspired by the juniorgeneral website, www.juniorgeneral.org. They will be in the 20 to 25 mm size (1/72 scale for you guys like me). For figures that works out to about 1 inch tall for a six foot figure. I will post some pics as I go, I am currently working on a mech from Patlabor, front and back views so they can be cut out and put on a base. As for actual human figures I don't think I'll do too many of those, there are more than enough on JG's page. I am trying to do some things that aren't available on JG, I will post my stuff here when finished. If you are interested drop me a PM or reply.

    Thanks,

    Todd

    OK.....help!

I have a copy of one side of my figure I want to upload in to my thread, but can't because it's too big! If I resize it I lose some of my detail, how do I get around this?

    Thanks,

    Todd

I normally create a copy of my picture, crop to 800px by 600px and then save as JPEG with a medium setting.

    Cheers JTF

I don't know if I stated this, but these are going to be as close to 1/72 scale as possible. The going is slow with this, I'm still learning how to use photoshop.wall1 As of right now, I can only find three different Labors, with front and back views. So if ANYONE has some line art from this series, please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Todd
