Nice shot, Gil!
an other of the same engine...
Great looking.!!:thumb: Who's engine is that?
Gil, You need to add some of these log cars
Tom that is one great looking train ! Now with all those log cars, you have a justifiable reason for purchasing a Shay, or a Climax or a Heisler locomotive! Thanks, John
Absolutly stunning, I will be glad to run those cars...you need my address?
The Line is named for my grand dads bussiness.
Your train room decor is great too.
Gill, a real beauty of an engine ! Are you familiar with or live near the Cass RR ? Thanks, John
Indeed John, I am a member of the MSRLH.
http://www.msrlha.org/httpBut I have been a fan since I was a kid.
My dad and I hunted up there, we had passes from the lumber company when Iwas a kid
My uncle was on the crew that rebuilt the road bed when the state bought it.:/He operated a road gradHave you been there, are you from W Va also?

Great shots Gill. We see Tom's photos all the time. Good idea to lay out track outside. My track would be covered with pecan hulls from the squirrels cutting pecans above. If did not live in town, the .22 qould stop that. Still does when they get too bad.
Hi Gill, no I haven't been there yet, but have heard about it years ago & my buddy just got back from there a few weeks ago. I'm hoping to go next year. I thought right away you were affiliated with it when I saw your Shay & looked at your profile. I'm from Ohio. A lot of people say it is the # 1 RR to visit here in the east. I can't seem to dial up that one address you have at the bottom there. I also live not far from Spankybird (Tom) who has the pics. above of the log cars. How do you give emails out here on this forum ? Thanks, John
I dont know what the deal is with those link, they at first would not paste then I had 3 when the message logged.
Beats me, i will type it in. msrlha.org
make the trip, do it now while the leaves are turning.
Gil, I thought you would bring that Shay up to the North Coast
I live just east of Cleveland and John live on the lake by the PA border.
You post on the OGR forum dont you?
I have read your posts and enjoyed them there also.
I haven't enough track to lay it so far, ha ha ha .
We post some on the OGR forum, but mostly on the CTT forum. I have been reading this forum for some time and have been posting here on and off for a few months now.
I book marked your web page.
You have an awesome layout.
Gil, just mentioned you on the "Caboose" thread. Let those Yankees see your webb page. :thumb:
We changed our overhead lights in the train room. Here is a pic with the new lights
